Virushka! Yes you heard it right, it is now official. This is one of the most popular marriages of recent time that is connected to two big worlds: cricket and Bollywood. Virat Kohli, the skipper of team India and Anushka Sharma, the Bollywood actress have tied the knot. There were rumors of the two being in relationship for long but things are now clear.

The first meeting:
In 2013, an ad shoot become the spot for the first meeting of virushka. This was a TV commercial that was intended for a brand of shampoo. The sparks fly very soon. This was the time when Kohli was holding a key position in team India and Anushka too has a space in bollywood.
And then bloomed the love:
The relationship was not made common by any of the two but they even did not made attempts to hide it. Quite often, the two were spotted with each other. There was a report stating that Virat Kohli has went straight to the residence of Anushka in 2014 after team India returned from the tour of South Africa. In 2014, Anushka Sharma has also met Kohli while India was on New Zealand’s tour.
Later in 2014-15 as well while couple of test matched were played by team India in Australia, presence of Anushka Sharma was spotted in the matches. Virat Kohli even drove flying kiss towards Anushka as an appreciation for her presence while he was celebrating the hundred in Test in Melbourne. During the same tour, Anushka was present in Australia at the function of Indian High Commission with Virat and at Darling Harbour located in Sydney.
Flying kiss was also blew by Kohli in November 2014 when Anushka was there in the stands in Sri Lanka versus India ODI.
Be it the Bollywood parties or wedding ceremony of cricketer Yuvraj Singh, public appearances were made by two of them together.

On Monday, an announcement was made by the two for their marriage in the midst of some homewards forceful speculation. Reports were also there Mumbai will be the place where a grand reception will be hosted by the couple before Kohli has to leave for tough tour of Australia. This is the tour in which India is going to play six ODIs, three tests and three Twenty20s. In South Africa, he will be joined for a while by Anushka Sharma.
